We are excited to announce a new addition to our TerraCycle Zero Waste Bag program. Welcome the Zero Waste Box.
Zero Waste Bags are a great way to recycle what you couldn’t before, but did you know there’s a solution that recycles even more hard-to-recycle trash? While we’ll continue to offer Zero Waste Bags and pick-up services as usual, the Zero Waste Box is a great new way to recycle more.
Meet Zero Waste Box: the simple, all-in-one solution to #RecycleEverything—especially the
items and packaging that curbside services typically don’t accept. These boxes work a bit
differently and can handle larger quantities of hard-to-recycle trash, making them perfect for
families, workplaces, and classrooms.
Unlike Zero Waste Bags, Zero Waste Boxes are a mail-back solution. Meaning that once you’ve filled your box, you just need to ship it to TerraCycle for recycling using the free shipping label attached to the box, instead of getting it picked up.
HOW IT WORKS
1. SHOP: Browse our All-In-One or Toys Zero Waste Boxes and select the one that matches the hard-to-recycle trash you would like to recycle. Start browsing here.
2. COLLECT: Place your Zero Waste Box in a convenient location and fill it with the
accepted waste.
3. SHIP: Once full, seal your Zero Waste Box and return it to TerraCycle by using the
prepaid shipping label that is attached to the back of the box.
4. RECYCLE: The waste is sorted and then recycled into raw materials used to make new
products. The box and liner are also recycled.
5. REORDER: Continue to #RecycleEverything and reorder a new Zero Waste Box.
